Chapter 55 – An Incubator

“Get out!” Charles said uncaringly.

Ziv stopped the car and opened the door. He stood beside the door as a guardian.

The shallow moon receded, and the wind began to blow.

It was raining heavily. Ziv stood there in the rain, even as the droplets of water hit him, he stood still and did not reach for his umbrella.

The potency of the aphrodisiac has gone, but Charles has not yet finished.

Bella stared at the roof of the car without blinking.

Charles looked at the tears that poured out of her eyes and murmured, “Bella, I hope this lesson was very profound. Don't try to flirt with other men. Otherwise, I will rape you in front of them.”

A sense of humiliation swept over her, and she looked at the handsome and evil man before her. She could only feel desperate.

Her pale hands fell weakly on both sides of her body.

Charles stood up, sat back in his seat, and tidied up his clothes slowly. He didn’t even give her a glance.

It seemed that she was just a tool for having children.

His purpose was not to have sex with her but to crush her, humiliate her, and let her understand that she was under his control. She could not disobey him.

He could do anything to her in any circumstances, in any case, And her feelings were not important to him.

She sat up and grabbed the ripped dress beside her feet.

“Charles Williams, Why? Why do you make me hate you?”

Today, she had felt that he was not so bad and even felt flattered.

Charles gave her his white suit jacket, “Hate? If hatred could let you learn something, it would be a success tonight.”

Her love and hatred had nothing to do with him.

What he wanted is the end result.

His coat left his smell, and his liquid left in her body. She felt disgusting.

He didn't like her, but he took possession of her body in this way, just for having a child and trying to teach her something.

It was then silent in this car. He looked ahead and noticed that the night was already thick, the rain fell, and the street was empty.

“Get out.” His voice was cold and hoarse.

Bella looked at him, reluctantly put on the torn clothes, and put on his coat, wrapped herself up, and got out of the car without hesitation.

She didn't want to look at him. Doing so would only make her feel more disgusting.

He was arrogant, although he had the power to be like that.

But that was the reason he could control others' lives and trample on others’ dignity?

She deliberately slammed the door to unleash her anger and hatred.

Ziv was frightened by this noise. He watched Bella walk away and then he returned to the car.

The rain fell hard, but he was not wet at all.

“Lord, Madam will get sick if she walks in the rain. Elsa says that a woman who has children must stay healthy.” Ziv said worriedly.

Charles glanced at his dry head, and his voice was sluggish and cold. “Well, explain what happened to you.”

Ziv lowered his head in guilt. “Lord, I forgot.”

“Go to the sea to examine your head for a week.” He indifferently ordered, “Drive.”

“Yes, Lord.” Ziv no longer dared to stand up for Bella, started the engine and drove away.

Fortunately, Madam did not notice anything weird.

The raindrops continued to fall on her, and soon, she was soaked.

She did not care and moved forward step by step against the heavy rain. She knew that Charles was watching her, waiting for her to go back and ask for mercy.

Charles stayed in the car, and the street lights outside the window reflected his face, which could not show his joy or anger.

He never liked to stay around women. All the women he knew chattered and dressed like peacocks every day, that longed for his fortune and fame.

He despised them and would not have tied a woman by his side if her blood had not played an important role for the future of his family.

He didn't like mettlesome men or women. But Bella sometimes didn’t say a word.

He was confused.

He only wanted a child, why she was so annoyed?

He could give her everything; money, freedom. As long as she listened to him. What else did she need? Why could she smile at other men but be so cruel to him?

Shouldn't he give her a lesson?

The car passed by Bella, and her slender figure reflected in the rear mirror, as she walked unyieldingly and ignored him.

Soon, the car disappeared in the rain.

Bella watched the car taillights disappear, and then stopped, her lips trembled, eyes blinked, and tried to squeeze away the tears in her eyes.

Under the darkness of night, the lights were dim, and the world was silent. It seemed as if the entire world left her alone.

The rain was getting heavier, but her bag and her cell phone were in his car. She had no money.

Where did she want to go? Where could she go?

She wanted to go home, for she missed her mother. Bella could take a taxi back home, and her mother could pay the fare, but she would be afraid to see her in such a mess.

How could she make her mother worried about her?

Bess was her only relative. She could not give her a better life. At the very least, she could not become her burden.

Where could she go? Maybe she could go to Dora’s.

She blinked and quickly wiped her stinging eyes. She had a friend, Dora.

There was no place on the road to hide from the rain.

But the rain continuously fell down, and there were no cars.

She did not often wear high heels, which had made blisters develop on her feet, so she could only stumble on the road.

She took off her shoes and walked barefoot on the sidewalks full of water. The muddy puddles hurt her feet.

She even blamed herself for it. Why did I feel mistreated at that time? It would have been better to serve him with hypocrisy just like in Williams Mansion.

But if everything happened again, she would still resist.

Because she still couldn't serve him when others were around.

In her heart, she still wanted to keep a little bit of dignity.

Although Charles did not give her dignity, she had no reason to give up herself.
