50 Brother Shin really knows how to pamper a woman!

Yeri patted Shin's head like she's patting a child, hearing such words especially from a man like Shin Keir, any woman would misunderstand and assume he has fallen in love with her.

However, it's only natural in a man's trait that if you ignored or showed no interest in them it will trigger their desire to conquer.

Yeri deduced that Shin is acting out of character for that reason. After all, what is her worth when he has everything and can effortlessly obtain anything he wants?

"Brother Shin, no matter how much you miss me don't you think you went too far messing with my room and treating it like a hotel?"

Shin bitterly smiled meeting Yeri's indifferent eyes. 'You're still the same, always by my side but I never really had your-'

"What's wrong?" Yeri asked noticing his muddled expression.

Shin was at a loss, why did he have that train of thought?

"Nothing..." Shin sat up, convincing himself that it was probably just from sleep deprivation, it was then when he noticed her legs. "Tell me exactly how did you get these burns? I was so worried when you said you got hurt but you didn't answer my calls."

Yeri briefly told Shin but skipped the part of Venice trying to frame her and Hei Ryung deliberately causing the maid to drop the teapot since she doesn't need anyones' backing to deal with the idiotic mother and daughter pair.

But Shin had already done his investigation and it only made him feel uneasy that she's keeping it from him like he's someone that couldn't be trusted, or is he still a stranger to her?

"I see, you should be careful next time...do you need to change your bandage?" Shin said in a monotone.

"Not yet, I just changed it earlier." Yeri also sat up.

Shin simply nodded, reminding himself again not to be hasty, his lack of sleep and uneasiness the past few days at least helped him plan and reflect on his previous actions.

Yeri Zhi can be obstinate just like her father, she's very confident and loves pretty things. Moreover, based on his observation, she's calculating and don't act on impulse except when she's drunk.

Therefore, being overbearing and forcing a helping hand without her asking isn't a good option for the time being.

"By the way, I have a surprise for you..." Shin grabbed his bag that was down the side of the bed and pulled out an exquisite rose gold jewellery box. "Here's the rest of your birthday gift."

Yeri's eyes gleamed in astonishment upon opening the jewellery box, it's a round-shaped, pink diamond necklace and earrings. The style may be classic and simple but pink diamonds are extremely rare and more expensive than a regular diamond!

"This...you're really giving this to me?" Yeri asked, she might soon turn into a gold-digger seeing an exorbitant gift.

Shin smirked and pinched her nose. "Why are you even asking, to whom should I give it instead?"

"Thank you...Brother Shin really knows how to pamper a woman." Yeri bantered.

"What are you implying? I have no experience in other vile- women nor do I have any intention in pampering others aside from you." Shin clearly stated.

"Haha~ I don't believe you! How can Brother Shin have no experience in women? even if it's not recent how about when you were a teenager? It's a curious age for boys and with your looks, I'm sure girls were begging to be your girlfriend."

Shin looked dejected and hugged her waist. "I never cared about those disgusting things but you are different."

"I'm different?" Yeri frowned.

"Hmm...you're not disgusting and I like everything about you."

'What kind of cliched nonsense are you spouting?' Yeri feigned an untroubled expression, she refused to believe that the male god never had any experience with women and it's not like she cares about his past relationships.

Why is he denying it? does it have something to do with him being a woman-hater?

Yeri felt curious but also afraid of crossing the line, If she know too much of Shin Keir's secret then he will probably bury her alive instead of letting her go once he lost his affection for her.

It's for the same reason she will never ask Shin Keir to help her brother, such favour cannot be repaid by money and Shin Keir wouldn't want it as well considering his vast wealth.

There is a possibility that he will ask for an unthinkable repayment once she becomes indebted to him, that's why even if Shin Keir will continue to pamper her in the future she's mindful of when and what to accept or reject.

"I like you too, you're very handsome!" Yeri smiled and suddenly remembered that she's hungry feeling Shin's muscles with him hugging her from the back.

"Just my appearance?" Shin asked in a dissatisfied tone.

"Brother Shin, can we talk about that later? I'm hungry, before you woke up I was actually planning to go to a nearby convenience store."

"Fine, let's go together." Shin stood up to put on his shirt.

Yeri swallowed hard, 'I'm just like this because I'm starving!'

The two of them agreed to meet at the school's back gate after Shin climbed out of the school wall.

When Yeri arrived, Shin was already waiting there earning attention from passersby.

Yeri sighed, that tennis cap and black mask he's wearing just made him even more attractive, arousing people's curiosity.

"What's wrong? Are your legs hurting?" Shin asked seeing her knitted brows.

Yeri shook her head, it feels like she's on a secret date with a celebrity.

"Brother Shin, aren't you afraid you'll get caught sneaking in my dorm?"

"Don't worry, I'll never get caught." Shin held her hand as they crosses the street.

Just where is his confidence coming from? Is he a professional burglar in his previous life?

The convenience store they went to is just a couple of blocks from her school, Yeri prefer going there rather than the school's restaurants and cafeteria since they have frozen meals that she can easily stock in her dorm.

"Do you always buy your food here?" Shin felt unhappy that she's eating unhealthy foods, is this why she's sickly?

"No, only when I crave some fried foods." Yeri took 3-4 packs of frozen meals but Shin put them back.

"What are you doing?"

"Just take one, these aren't good for your health so you can't have much. Why don't we go to a restaurant instead?"

Yeri was irritated feeling hungry and without realising the two of them argued gaining the onlooker's attention.
