49 Shin's strange dream
For the past 2 days, Shin Keir couldn't get a wink of sleep.
Mainly because Yeri is ghosting him again, he thought of visiting her home but since Klaus Zhi is aware of their relationship he can't fool him by saying he wants to discuss business.
In addition, he suddenly had this recurring dream whenever he tries to sleep.
A hollow, sovereign voice and a forlorn, wretched place that he couldn't comprehend.
Shin normally don't dwell on things he couldn't fathom, believing they aren't important and worthwhile. However, the strange dream is giving off a sense of familiarity and uneasiness, irritating him.
"Find out where you heard or see this." Shin handed a piece of paper to Secretary Yun.

"I don't know, figure it out." Shin rubbed his temples.

Shin Keir took a portrait of himself that his father painted a couple of years back and before dawn, they went back to SC University.
"B-boss, does the Young Miss Zhi know that you're redecorating her dorm? What if Master Keir will look for this portrait?" Secretary Yun was streaming off cold sweats as his gaze darted around.
"Just pass me the portrait!" Shin once again climbed on the walls and jumped on the other side, unperturbed.

Back to the present, Secretary Yun looked devastated not knowing where to find a clue about the snippet Shin Keir wanted him to search, he already checked online yet nothing comes close to it.
Could it be some sort of passage or quotation known in the underworld?
Secretary Yun nimbly tapped on his laptop thinking of accessing the dark web when he notice Shin Keir's dark and gloomy expression from the rearview mirror.
They are currently inside the car and just across the school's girls dormitory.
"Boss, how about taking a nap and going back later? It's Monday and it's only 4 pm, this area wouldn't be empty till around midnight." Secretary Yun suggested, aware that the tyrant emperor is all the more terrifying when he lacks sleep.
Also, why is Young Miss Zhi ghosting his Boss? he was under the impression that things were going well between the two of them since that dinner at the Zhi household.
"No, it's past 4 pm she should be at her dorm now, just go home once I go in." Shin glance at his watch.
"Boss you really shouldn't climb the walls or will get in trouble! I can instead look for the Young Lady and take her here." Secretary Yun panicked.
As his Secretary he will definitely protect the tyrant emperor's reputation, otherwise, they will both go down in history as perverts!
"Alright, I'm not an idiot, who said I'm climbing?" Shin glared at Secretary Yun and took off his blazer and tie. "You just have to distract the patrolling guard so I can sneak in."

Happiness appeared in his dark, gloomy eyes as he caught a whiff of her scent lingering in the room.
Shin proceeded to her room and took off his shirt, although he still couldn't sleep despite coming in and out there for the past two nights, it made him feel at ease and comfortable.
However, at that moment Shin Keir unknowingly fell asleep.

Yeri stretched out her hand and massage her fingers, she didn't realise it was almost 9 pm till her stomach started grumbling.
'I should wait for Sergei Ricci to approach me first before deciding to bid on that auction.' Yeri thought and went to check on Shin Keir.
Is he planning to sleep there for the whole night?
'Wake not a sleeping lion!' Yeri pursed her lips and wrote something on her notepad, stating that she's going to a nearby convenience store.

"Ah!" Yeri screamed feeling her heart leapt out to her throat. "You scared me!"
"Why aren't you answering your phone? do you want to see me go crazy?" Shin muttered in an aggrieved tone.
Yeri looked at Shin puzzled, that was unexpected of him, perhaps he's sleep talking?
"Do you know what is this?" Yeri dangled the pen that she's holding and put out her other hand. "How many fingers do I have?"
Shin instead grabbed her hand and she fell on top of him, before she could pull back or utter a word, Shin's warm lips pressed against her, it was hot and demanding, his hand clasped into the back of her hair and his other hand feeling her waist.
He spun around and deepened their kiss wanting to vent his frustration and uneasiness.
It wasn't until their both breathless that Shin let her lips go.
Yeri's heart raced as she struggled to compose herself, how can she be seduced when it's supposed to be the other way around?!
"Are you trying to appease me with a kiss Brother Shin or should I say the shameless burglar?" Yeri wrapped her arms around his neck.
Shin buried his face to her neck and whined. "Don't make me miss you so much else I don't know what will I do."
