45 The 'Shin Keir' that he had known since childhood

"It was Saeki who included her in this group, I think they're close, but don't you remember Calin Ricci, your fiancee?" Tristan chuckled, eyeing Shin tauntingly. "You should clarify your relationship with her. If bunny gets close with her, things might get complicated."

"What fiancee?" Shin derided.

"I know you don't care but what if bunny misunderstand? and don't forget the old man at the main house isn't dead yet."

"Do you believe he can harm her?" the corner of Shin's lip curved.

"It's just a reminder that even backdrops can cause harm if left unchecked for a long period of time." Tristan grinned.

He would have already caved in from the menacing pressure and the carnage swirling in Shin's deep, abysmal eyes, however, this is the 'Shin Keir' that he had known since childhood.

It can be said that their ruthless and cold-blooded nature is rooted in the cruel experiences they'd been through but only Tristan knew that Shin Keir has always been like this as far as he remembers.

He presumed that regardless of their past, Shin Keir is someone who always regarded people as mere setting figures or objects, an existence akin to a backdrop in a theatre stage that leastwise filled his desolate and boring life.

Calin prattled on about the group chat that Sergei's expression gradually turned ferocious.

He has a mountain of works and issues to tackle and she wanted her to investigate a random attention seeker in a chat?
