It's as if a bomb has been dropped hearing Yeri's notion, especially Venice and Jj.

'Why the hell are you shooting yourself in the foot? I thought you slept with Shin Keir?!' Jj felt the urge to blurt it out to Yeri.

"Princess, there's no need for you to go that far, we all believe you're innocent." Madam Zhi held her daughter's hand.

"That's right, we shouldn't make a big deal out of this. Venice, apologize to Yeri since you started this nonsense." Nolan immediately chimed in.

"She already slapped my daughter twice! why should she apologize?"

"Hei Ryung!" Nolan shouted, he knew this woman is dumb but was it too much to expect a little common sense?

He really regretted meeting and bringing her to the family, he thought she would be useful because of her strong-willed and shameless character but who knew she's utterly brain-dead!

"No need for an apology..." Yeri interrupted Venice and said in a dunce expression.

"Actually, I should be the one apologizing for asking you to take the virginity test with me. I forgot cousin Venice have had a few boyfriends so it's quite understandable, how silly of me!"

"What are you implying?!" Venice felt her heart slammed on the floor, not expecting her plan to backfire.

If Yeri intend to take that damn test and she refused, then Yeri's remarks held some truth on it.

'But what if Yeri is still pure? What if the maid exaggerated what she saw?' Venice also started to doubt.

Nolan was so mad that the vein on his forehead swelled, he came in there wanting to get information about Shin Keir's investment with the company but also because Venice promise him a good show.

Yet, it seems he has to clean her mess instead!

"Enough of this!" Jj held his forehead feeling sleepy. "I don't know why you made such groundless assumption Venice but Yz's diamond bracelet is a gift from me."

Venice chuckled, "You? how can you afford it?"

"Yz just turned 18, how can I give her an ordinary present? I sold my car and bought the bracelet, but I was worried Uncle Klaus would reprimand me so I asked her to keep it a secret for now."

Madam Zhi unknowingly patted her chest from relief, she was completely bothered about that diamond bracelet. "Jj, you shouldn't have done that, don't you need a car?"

"It's fine Auntie, honestly that car is too flashy for me." Jj calmly replied.

He had trouble thinking up an excuse about his totalled car so this diamond bracelet is good timing also it was partly true that he sold it since he manage to sell its car parts.

"The cat's out of the bag." Yeri looked at Jj with gleaming eyes, doing a thumbs up internally.

Nolan give Venice a side-eye that the latter felt nervous and shrank back.

"Since it's all settled then we'll take our leave and Zenia can you tell my brother that I need to talk to him about the company? I think he's too busy to even answer my call these days."

Madam Zhi nodded and talked to Nolan Zhi as they walked outside.

However, Hei Ryung is still fuming looking at her daughter's swollen face and couldn't just let it be bygones, how will she marry a wealthy Young Master if her face is ruined?

It was then when a maid walked in from the kitchen carrying a tea tray with a hot teapot to serve for Jj, that a sudden thought popped on her head.

Hei Ryung smiled evilly and abruptly brush past the maid.

In a split second, the tea set shattered on the floor and the boiling hot water from the teapot exploded.

A high pitched piercing cry reverberated in the room, Hei Ryung forgot that she's wearing open toe shoes and got scalded.

"You stupid maid! why are you so careless?" Hei Ryung yelled at the shocked maid.

Yeri furrowed her brows, she notice Hei Ryung's intention late and barely backed away, her legs sting from the glass shards and hot water.

Jj immediately dragged her to the back kitchen to run water on her legs.

"Stay here, I'll ask Nanny Pham for an ointment." Jj worriedly said and run back inside the house.

But Yeri isn't the least worried, she had noticed after her awakening that her skin isn't just fairer but any skin problems are quickly healed.

"Yeri are you okay? I know of a very effective ointment, I'll buy it for you."

"Ah, I didn't know you were also here." Yeri stared at Rome Zhi without emotion.

Although he was never hostile to her, he's still the scumbag snake's son, better to treat him as someone invisible than letting her guard down.

Furthermore, she's not ignorant to a man's desire and she can see that from Rome Zhi's eyes, even if they aren't logically related, she still finds him creepy.

"I'm sorry about Venice...if she tries to create trouble again let me know." Rome warmly smiled, sizing her up.

"..." Yeri turned aside, not wanting to converse with him.

Rome looked somehow contented, he then heard some people coming and bid her goodbye.

'This place is like a curse!' Yeri whined internally, sighing.

She kept on telling her Mother that there was no need to go to the hospital since it's just a minor burn but it's hard to refute whenever her Mother cries.

"Princess, can you go first and have your legs checked? burns should be treated immediately but there's no parking space here, I'll follow you after I park down the basement."

Yeri nodded and lazily got off at the ground-level parking, she was almost at the elevator when there seemed to be someone calling her.

Yeri glance at the left lane and saw a man slumping in the driver seat with his car door open.

"You! come over here and t-take me to the emergency room! I'm Sergei Ricci, I'll give you money."

"Tch! look at this bastard! still acting arrogant when he looks like he's dying." Yeri mumbled to herself, eyeing him curiously.

His face was extremely pale and he's seemingly suffering from some sh*tty illness.

Yeri beamed her flawless smile and tilted her head. "I don't think so, Mister. I'm also a patient and my shoulders are so delicate and extremely precious, don't worry I'll tell a nurse for you."
