"Princess had to catch up with all her lessons these days, she's just tired and hungry." Zenia Zhi patted her daughter's back.

"Then let's get to dinner, is everything ready?" Klaus asked his wife and handed the wines to the butler.

"Of course, we do not want to make our guests wait." Zenia Zhi genially responded and lead them to the dining area.

The rectangular dining table is filled with lavish and flavourful gourmet dishes and a dried floral bouquet place in the middle.

Klaus Zhi naturally occupied the head seat while Madam Zhi sat on his right.

Yeri followed their usual dining setup and seated across her mother, which, Shin Keir waited for and promptly sat next to her.

Venice aimed for the empty seat next to Shin Keir but Secretary Yun hastily grabbed the chair.

'What a rude bastard!' Venice was appalled, she cleared her throat as a gesture that it was her seat.

"I apologise for blocking the lady's way." Secretary Yun looked apologetic but instead of moving away, he sat down.

"..." Venice.

"Is there a problem, Venice?" Zenia Zhi frowned.

"Nothing Auntie..." Venice strode across the table and sat next to Zenia Zhi, fuming inside.

The conversation flowed as the dinner proceeded, they mainly talked about business and economy whilst Yeri remained quiet, just stuffing herself with food.

"I see that Miss Zhi likes seafood," Shin commented, taking a mental note of the dishes on her plate.

"Princess loves seafood, especially a grilled lobster and shrimp." Zenia who always gets excited on topics about her daughter, happily narrated. "She can go on for weeks eating only that."

"Ah, wasn't there a time when princess almost drowned trying to catch a fish to eat when we were on vacation?" Klaus recalled.

"Really? was it serious?" Shin sounded very interested.

"Daddy is overreacting, I don't remember it ever happened." Yeri put out a smile and sneakily poke Shin's thigh.

This culprit is spoiling her 'wallflower' plan!

"You were only 10 years old at that time and got sick after it happened, no wonder you don't remember." Klaus inferred.

Shin felt thrilled, he have plans to soon reveal their relationship, however, at that moment, he felt indescribable happiness and delight from Yeri's discreet action.

Yeri lightly jolted suddenly feeling Shin's hand on her lap, the warmth from his hand is seeping thru her dress to her skin that she stiffened.

"Princess, don't drink too much wine," Zenia called up, seeing how she downed her glass of wine.

"I can't help it, the wine that Young Master Keir bought tastes so good, the boldness of flavour is very distinct." Yeri enunciated the word 'boldness' as she glance at Shin and pinched his hand.

However, Shin didn't budge his hand and a trace of playfulness showed in his eyes.

"Miss Zhi is right, this chardonnay is a rare blend and a perfect pair for seafood especially lobster and shellfish."

"I see..." Yeri replied with a half-smile and once again pinched his hand.

"Boss, can you pass me the salad?" Secretary Yun asked out of nowhere.

Shin coldly gaze at Secretary Yun, wanting to rip his mouth but then notice a servant coming to fill their wine glass and so he unwillingly removed his hand from Yeri's lap.

"Thank you, Boss." Secretary Yun took the bowl of salad from Shin Keir, satisfied, such a rare chance to get back at his tyrant boss, retribution for the singles!

"Of course it will taste good Yeri, you may not know but this white wine costs around $5,000 per bottle, one can taste the balance of rich, buttery taste and acidity. Young Master Keir is very generous..." Venice appeared demure, smiling at Shin Keir.

Not only she found a way to point out Yeri's ignorance of wine but she also implied her knowledge in this topic.

"No need to say it, Boss has always been magnanimous." Secretary Yun remarked, shutting off Venice's hope of hearing from Shin Keir.

"For a starter, the espresso beans work well with red wine, such as cabernet sauvignon. If you want, I know of people who can work with you and are experts in this context." Shin advised.

"..." Yeri was speechless, unable to put forth her thoughts on the matter.

Zenia Zhi also looked cynical, unaware of the details. However, unlike their daughter, who was kept in the dark of matters about the company, she had seen her husband struggled and manage the company with great difficulty for the past 3 years since their son was publicly disgraced.

"What are you two doing?!" Klaus Zhi sharply exclaimed.

"I'm sorry Uncle but it was Yeri who..." Venice bit her bottom lip, feigning a hurt expression.

Zenia sneered, "You know the plate was heavy, why would you let it go?"

Yeri blinked innocently, since the dishes were close to her, the sauce spilt and splattered on her dress and unfortunately, also to Shin Keir.
