"Mom, I'm thirsty..." Yeri bluff as everyone's eyes darted on her, coughing.

Zahn calmly checked her pulse and adjusted her IV.

For a moment there, Shin forgot about their 'secret relationship' and moved closer to hold her hand but Yeri was quick to notice.

"Young Master Keir, thank you for saving me, its just a cold but you went out of your way to bring me here. How can I ever thank you?"

Yeri warily eyed Shin not to act familiar and at the same time insinuating her displeasure for taking her there.

"It's nothing." Shin subtly smiled, wanting to tease her.

"Doctor, how is my sister? why is she suddenly coughing?! Yeri is like the Princess of our family, we all worry about her although she thinks it's nothing." Venice loudly whined to get Shin Keir's attention.

If he's wise, then he should realize that Yeri Zhi is just a spoiled and heartless woman, who doesn't care about the people who cherish her.

However, Shin Keir just slightly frowned and did not even glimpsed at her.

"She is fine." Zahn Neri briefly answered with a blank face.

"Dearest Yeri, why are you so stubborn and careless, always making us all worried especially your Mother, can't you see how much heartache you're giving her?" Hei Ryung regained her composure and chimed in.

"Oh, Auntie is worried? I thought you came here to mourn, like usual."

Yeri smiled like that of a gentle and delicate flower but the words shooting off her mouth made Hei Ryung looked like she has just eaten sh*t.

Tristan smiled widely, this bunny is really a venomous snake.

"Sister, you shouldn't tease my mother like that, you know how gullible she is. Although Mom loves to wear black clothes, she should have been perceptive and mindful of your mood. I'm also to blame for not reminding her, I'm sorry, sister." Venice said in a meek voice.

"T-that's right dearest Yeri, next time Auntie will be careful and I'll also cook you your favourite mushroom soup." Hei Ryung put up a forced smile.

Venice steal a glance at Shin Keir, now he can see how despicable, vicious and unreasonable this vixen is!

Venice fiercely pinched her mother's back who behaved as if she was about to scratch Yeri's face, ignoring her wronged expression.

"Sister, what are you talking about? I've never been in a relationship nor do I have any weird fetish." Venice looked distressed and pitiful that any man would be eager to protect her.

"Oh~" Yeri simply muttered, weren't they trying to malign her? at least that thing about Venice was true.

Tristan held his chin up, grinning. The naughty bunny is more fun and interesting than he expected.

"Hei Ryung, don't you have other important things to do with Venice?" Klaus Zhi shot them a stern warning including Yeri.

"Uncle, we want to accompany sister till Auntie comes back." Venice politely resisted, wiping her non-existent tears.

Yeri shrank back from her father's gaze, she can act unruly and foolish but her strict father knows her like the back of his hand and can't be fooled.

"Master Zhi, can you spare me a moment? this may not be the right time but I would like to discuss a business proposal with you outside." Shin asked before warmly gazing at her.

He intends to stay there but these vile creatures presence is making him uncomfortable and irritated.

Yeri panicked, what business proposal? The Zhi's business is a coffeehouse chain that is completely unrelated to Shin's company!

"Daddy, I would feel bad if I can't repay Young Master Keir's kindness, how about we invite him for a family dinner?"

'Shameless b*tch!' Hei Ryung and Venice looked like they wanted to strangle her.

"hmm, If Young Master Keir doesn't mind, how about a family dinner in our place at your convenience? also Young Master Felan?" Klaus Zhi asked, not seeing any wrong with his daughter's suggestion.

"Of course, I do not mind at all." Shin quickly accepted.

"Sure." Tristan simply agreed and wink at Yeri.

"..." Yeri suddenly felt uneasy, she only wanted to hear this business proposal but why does it feel she just dug her own grave?
