4 She was a succubus

A day earlier~

A young woman can be seen standing in front of a wall-size mirror wearing a dishevelled pink t-shirt, her unkempt hair covered half of her face, ashen lips and bleary-eyes, yet these faults couldn't contain her blinding beauty.

Unfortunately, such beauty could barely see the outside world due to her weak physique, just a month ago, her condition turned for worse that she had to move back home instead of staying at the School's dormitory.

However, despite going through a lot of check-ups and laboratory tests, the Doctors were unable to figure out her illness.

It was only till now, her 18th birthday, did she realize the dramatic change in her body, not only is she feeling light it's as if she was never sick before, but also the apparent change in her appearance.

Yeri tilted her head and muttered in a trance. "Succubus..."

Along with her sudden recovery is the shocking memory of her past life, she was a succubus! a very alluring seductress married to the demon king! but apart from that, she has no memory of how and why she got reborn as a human.

Nonetheless, this second life isn't bad, she has a loving family, money, status, beauty and peaceful life; there's no point unravelling the past.

Yeri unbuttoned her shirt and pace back and forth, looking at her reflection.

A refined facial features, bigger bust, hourglass figure and milky fair skin.

"How interesting!" Yeri snickered, she then cupped her face feeling satisfied, now is her chance to truly enjoy life!

Who says she can't be a succubus in this life? or perhaps the precise term in this world is 'bitch' but that doesn't bother her, as long as she's careful knowing that she has a Family and reputation to protect.

After taking a shower and changing to a new set of clothes, Yeri walked out of her room feeling famish that she didn't notice a certain creature blocking her doorway and tripped on it.

"damn Carpet! I told you not to sleep in there!" Yeri scolded but the 75-pound golden fluff didn't mind and immediately pounce on her.

"P-princess?!"

Yeri turned around hearing the soft and familiar tone of voice. "Mom! get carpet off, he's too heavy!"

However, the woman was stomped for words and suddenly burst into tears, the house was in a miserable state the past few weeks with the only treasured daughter suffering from an unknown illness.

"Gosh Mom, no one is dying! I'm perfectly fine now." Yeri comforted her mother.

Zenia Zhi tenderly held her daughter's hand and hugged her; in fact, she's not Yeri's biological mother, she entered the family 3 years after the previous Madam Zhi died from a car accident.

At that time, Zenia was suffering from depression having told that she was infertile but meeting Klaus and marrying into the family was like a blessing from the heavens, being with the man she dearly loves and his cute little devils.

Love may have come late for her but it's all worth the wait.

"My little princess...I'm sorry...this mother is useless when you were sick." Zenia sniffed.

"Mom stop crying, if Dad sees us he might think I'm bullying you..." Yeri grabbed her mother's hand as they descended the stairs, while, carpet the fluffy golden retriever happily followed them.

The kitchen suddenly became lively upon hearing Yeri's sudden recovery, Madam Zhi, in particular, took charge of preparing her favourite foods.

Soon, Klaus Zhi, the master of the house arrived and notice the odd change of the atmosphere, which he was then informed of the good news by the butler.

At the dining, the family of three looked harmonious and jovial, it's a pity that Colin, Yeri's elder brother, wasn't there.

Klaus Zhi observed his daughter endlessly stuffing her mouth with food and he lightly smiled, he hopes that the sleepless days of fear and anxiety is over.

As the head of the family, he is known for being cold, upright and wilful yet when it comes to his sickly daughter, he's always giving her what she wanted.

"After this, I will contact the doctor for your routine check-up," Klaus spoke.

"Don't want to, I'm fine now." Yeri declined.

"Princess, your Father is right...for your sake, we have to prioritize your health and make sure you're really ok now." Zenia also insisted.

Seeing her mother's pleading expression, Yeri nodded and continued eating. "Dad, I want to go back to my school dorm, I need to focus on my studies from all the lessons I missed and staying in the dorm is more convenient."

"Princess, what are you talking about? you should stay here longer, who will prepare your food in the dorm? you have to eat proper meals and take your medicine." Zenia strongly refutes, looking at her little troublemaker who is now a gorgeous young lady, staying at the dorm is not safe.

"We will talk about that some other time." Klaus simply replied.

"That's right, then how about we talk about your grand debut? it's a pity we can only do a simple family dinner today but our princess debut is very important! is there something specific you want for your debut? like the place and theme maybe?" Zenia excitedly shifted the subject.

"hmm....Mom can decide on those things, I don't really have something in mind." Yeri briefly stated and insisted on going back to school again.

Klaus finally heeded. "Alright, once the doctor confirmed that you are well then you can go back to school also...I want you to start working in the company during your free time."

Yeri's smile froze while Zenia Zhi looked mortified.
