As we sat in the pond at night admiring our surroundings, the torches and lanterns were all on, I was expecting grandma Hera to appear soon. I don't understand why she wanted us up early if she wasn't going to be here to speak with all of us. I looked around at the boys they were all laughing and having a good time, it made me love them more then what I already had, out of the corner of my eye I saw a figure coming through the barrier. The boys must have noticed to because we all stood up waiting to attack if we needed to, but the closer the figure got we still couldn't quite figure out if it was grandmother. " Grandma Hera is that you?" It took a few moments but we finally got a response back, " Yes dear it's me now will you guys sit down you're all stark naked out here and I would rather not see it." You could see all the tension release from the four of us, so we all sat down and immediately started laughing. Alcide got out first drying off with the towel before putting his pants back on, he turned towards his mother " Where have you been? We have all been waiting for you to return so that we could talk."

She just looked at her son with a blank expression, " You do realize just because your here doesn't mean that I will stop doing my rounds around the forest to make sure everything is ok." We had all gotten out the pond at this point, Genius started walking towards me, he grabbed my hand and wrapped his fingers around mine. We walked over to where my grandmother was, I looked at my grandmother, " Well grandmother did you want to explain to Alcide and Genius what you told Zeus and I last night." She nodded yes then started walking to the house, so we all followed her and she led us into a den like area where there was a lot of room to sit. She sat down in one of the chairs before she looked at us, we all sat down in different areas. Genius and Alcide sat closer to grandmother, " Ok so while you guys were asleep last night I called upon Artemis and Zeus to come to the dining room, there was some information that they needed to know before you guys did and that was just simply the right thing to do at the time." The both nodded, " Now I don't know if you guys have ever realized how close Zeus and Artemis are actually." Genius cut them her off, " Well I have noticed that no matter where she is Zeus knows without even looking for her to much."

Then Alcide, " That and ever since they were younger it's like they can share energy." My grandmother smiled, " Well it seems at least the two of you pay attention better then they do at least, ok so you know that much but what you don't know is that there is a prophecy,that speaks of the battle to come, as well as two siblings one will give their life to save the other, it also speaks of the sibling that passes will give it's strength to the other in order to save the pack." Hera held her hand up silencing them before they could speak, " That is not all so let me finish before you interrupt, Zeus has the blood of a enchanter which means that yes he has powers they just aren't as strong as Artemis, because their bond is unique it can be dangerous to them as well as those around them, they have a bond that nobody has seen before and we don't quite understand how it works yet, but just because there's this prophecy does not necessarily mean that it will come true, prophecies can be changed and have been in the past." My grandmother paused, Alcide was the first to speak out of the two, " So your telling us that Zeus has powers, they are bonded uniquely, as well as one of them are most likely going to die to save the other basically."

Genius spoke next, " That can't be right how can two half siblings have a bond that you don't understand, and how can they put into that situation in the first place there has to be something we can do to change the outcome." Grandmother held her hand up once again silencing them, " Now now calm down, yes there is a lot that we still don't understand about them but one thing is for sure we have a lot of training to do." Zeus stood up walking closer to grandmother, " Grandmother we asked you last night about the mate connection, have you found anything else out about it or at least some information that can be shared." We looked at her eagerly awaiting her answer, but she fell silent not speaking at all. So I stepped closer to her, " Grandmother Hera please answer Zeus this is important." She got up from her chair and walked to the bookshelf behind her, she pulled out a large book with leather binding it looked old, then she walked back to her chair sitting down once again. " In this book will be the answers you seek Artemis, but I must warn you, you are not ready for anything in this book so please do not attempt anything in here before we train you properly." She went to hand me the book but before she could Genius took it from her, then he looked at me, " No offense princess but your not good at following directions, Alcide and I will ready the book then once you do some training with your grandmother and she feels a little bit more comfortable with you reading it then I will give it to you."

I was getting angry how could my mate not trust me with reading the book and not doing anything, but before I could speak a word I heard Violet in, " Well Artemis he has a point you never have been good at waiting especially on reading." Well I guess they did have a point but I didn't have to like it, " Fine Genius but I do not like that you don't trust me." He touched my shoulder, " It's not that I don't trust you, I don't trust the curious part of you there is a difference." At this point my grandmother started laughing, " God do you sound like your mother." Seriously how can she be laughing at me, " Really grandma this isn't funny." She still laughing looked me dead in my eyes, " O my child it is, if you only knew your mother at your age you would understand more." I looked over and Alcide was laughing too, " She has a point your mom was really bad about being way to curious to soon." Well I am glad that they all thought this was funny because I didn't, my grandmother stopped laughing at me, " Ok, so tomorrow we will start you and Zeus's magical training but Alcide and Genius you will be training physically and mentally tomorrow, there is one person I trust to train you and has been alive just as long as I have." We all looked at each other before speaking in unison, " Well who would that be?" She just shook her head, " You will find out tomorrow, but for now we need to talk more before we all get some rest."

She turned toward me specifically which just made me uncomfortable, " Artemis, you remember when I told you that you had a long way to go before you could properly protect your pack?" I nodded, " Well I was not exaggerating, this road will not be easy you have much to learn, but I can tell you that you will learn a lot from our past, things that you will need to help your future, there will be a lot of things that you have to read as well." She stared at me for a moment, " I know this, this is why mother sent me to you!" She just shook her head, " No your mother sent you to me because she was a damn idiot who didn't tell you shit about who your were and what was coming!" My mouth fell open I never thought I would hear her speak this way of my mother, Alcide seemed to be shocked to. He placed his hand on his mother's leg, " Mother don't speak ill of Athena, she did what she thought was best at the time." I could see the anger boiling in my grandmother's eyes I knew this wasn't going to be good, " NO ATHENA DID WHAT WAS BEST FOR HER, NOT WHAT WAS BEST FOR HER CHILDREN, SHE MAY HAVE THOUGHT SHE WAS PROTECTING THEM BUT LOOK AT WHAT HAS HAPPENED, ARTEMIS IS NOT FULLY TRAINED ON ANYTHING AND ZEUS DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HE HAD POWERS LET ALONE HOW TO USE THEM MY DAUGHTER WAS A IDIOT I TOLD HER EXACTLY WHAT TO DO AND SHE DISOBEYED ME."

We were all shocked by how angry she was about this, I mean I know Zeus and I had be angry with just cause but what I couldn't understand is why she was so angry. But before I could ask she looked back at Alcide, " My son, your sister was suppose to return your memories before your niece turned sixteen that way you knew exactly what had happened and what was going to happen but she didn't do that, Artemis had to help you and even then because she isn't properly trained she couldn't even fully return them to you, so now I have to return them to you so you know what is going to have to happen after this." Alcide went to speak but she held her hand up again, " We will not do this tonight, tonight everyone rest because tomorrow we have a long day." Before any of us could object she spoke a few words silently I already knew what was going to happen, she raised her hand sending us all back to our room and straight to bed. I laid in bed looking at the ceiling, what was going to happen I had no clue but one thing that I did know was this was not going to be a easy path for me and I wasn't sure whether to be scared or excited. I looked over to look at Genius and I noticed that he was sound asleep, why did what she whisper always put him straight to sleep but it took me awhile to do so, no matter I would just lay staring at the ceiling until I did.
