5 Training

The next morning I woke up to find Genius was not in bed when I fully woke I up I began to panic, it was like somehow he knew because the next second I heard Genius in my head " Princess, it is ok I am in the house why don't you get dressed and come meet everyone inside." That made me feel better, so I got my lazy butt up got dressed, but the moment I stepped out of my tent I smelled something strange, the moment I smelled it I heard Violet ′ Artemis, get inside now there is someone near, and you do not have the training to protect yourself yet." But I had a better idea I spoke inside my head "Genius, I need you, Daniel, and Zeus out here now." The moment I quit thinking out ran Genius, Daniel, and Zeus, they all looked at me " I need you guys to smell, do you guys smell that, Violet is concerned." Zeus just cocked his head, " Who is Violet?" I just shook my head " My wolf, now smell" For some reason when I said that I had more power in my voice it was enough to make Zeus whine. I was confused by what had happened, but they all did what I told them to.

Soon they were all surrounding me growling, and I was confused. I smelled the same scent, but they must know the scent personally. Immediately my brother, Daniel, Genius, and both my brother and Daniel's mates came outside surrounding me, and now I was curious about what was going on. I soon heard a rustling in the woods straight ahead, I don't know what took over me, but I beelined it to where the sound was, everyone was yelling, but I did not care. Someone was here, and they meant my family harm, I reached the edge of the forest when I heard a deep growl, I immediately got on all fours and let out the meanest growl I could. Soon as the growl left my throat, I felt this power arise from the tip of my toes to my head; then I started shaking Violet was helping me. I turned back to the forest and growled, but whatever they saw on my face made the intruder slowly back away with there head down. I turned back towards my pack and started walking toward them, but when I got near, they all had there mouths open. I was confused about why were they so shocked, but that's when Genius walked up to me "Princess, your eyes are purple." Then Zeus walked up, " Art, I need you to calm yourself, so your eyes will go back to normal. Nobody knows the extent of your power yet."

I was still confused, but Violet knew what they meant, " Artemis, I will change them back for now, but eventually they will stay purple, they will just change shades of purple." I wasn't sure what she meant by that, but Daniel snapped me back to reality, " Artemis, come inside; we all need to talk for a moment." I agreed because I was still new and unsure of our ways. Once inside my brother, Daniel, Genius, and I went into this big office that had my name on it. Once we were entirely in the office, Zeus closed the door, " Okay Art, now comes the important part before we talk about anything else. You have to choose your Beta and your Delta." I was confused as to what he meant, " What do you mean Zeus?" That's when Daniel stepped up " Your beta is second in command to you and Genius, your Delta is third in command, this is to help guide you when you are lost, to make decisions if you or Genius can not." I looked to Genius, and he nodded, "Well, that is a no brainer guys, Zeus your my Beta and Daniel, you are my Delta." That earned smiles from both of them, but then Genius came up behind me wrapping his arms around me " My queen, now we need to discuss who will help our Beta and Delta to train our pack."

I was confused because I haven't met the rest of the pack yet to see who would be a better fit to help train our pack to protect ourselves. "Zeus, Daniel, and Genius, before we go on any further about what needs to be decided I have a few things to say first, one who was that in the woods, two I need training before I select anyone else to protect this pack I need to be able to protect you guys first before I leave it in anyone else's hands." All three boys looked to one another like they were shocked that I had even said anything. Zeus was the first one that came toward me " Sis, you will be trained we have one of our eldest warriors coming to train you how to fight tomorrow." Then Genius stepped forward " Princess, but as for your powers that we are all still not sure of, you will have to listen to Violet because she is the only one other then your mother that knows what those powers are, how to control them, and what to do with them." That was confusing to me how am I going to listen to her and train at the same time. I don't know what happens in the next few moments, but I gained a confidence that I never felt before, I looked to Genius thinking it was coming from him, but he shook his head no.

I spoke forcefully, assertive, and firmly, " OK, this is what I want everyone to do. First, there needs to be a perimeter built around our forest it needs to be fortified, the second I want surveillance over every nook and cranny of our home." "Third, I need to know how many people are in our pack as of now?" They all turned toward me, shocked at home quickly. I spoke, I suddenly felt great pride, and that was coming from Genius. Zeus was the first to walk closer to me " Well sister we don't have a big pack at the moment, most of our pack got separated after the war, we have been searching trying to find them." Daniel and Genius both nodded in agreement, that's when I heard Violet again, she seems to speak up at the most critical times. " Artemis, you can locate the members of the pack with our powers." " What do you mean Violet, I don't know how to use any of my powers yet." " Well Artemis, time for a crash course in using your locating powers."

I turned towards the boys " I need you guys to step back. Violet knows a way to locate the other members of the pack." Zeus was shocked at this point, "What do you mean?" I just looked at my brother " I am not sure Zeus, I don't know how any of this works at this point." I heard Violet again " Okay, Artemis I need you to sit down, take a big deep breath in, now I need you to clear your mind, once you have done that focus on the feeling you get from your brother, and Daniel, that feeling of needing to protect them, do you feel that bond, not the bond of a mate but the bond of a pack." " Violet, I feel a strong pull, like the need to protect but not of anyone in this area, I am being pulled in so many different directions that I am not sure how to decide which way." I heard silence in my head for a moment before my wolf spoke again " Artemis if your being pulled in different directions that means you can locate them all at once, I want you to focus not on the directions that your being pulled but the locations of them all." " I can try Violet, but I am not sure I can."

So I did what Violet suggested, I concentrated not on the pulling I was feeling but on the location of where my pack was, I found that about six of the pulls I was feeling was in Alabama, then there was two in Mississippi, and then there was ten in Tennessee. "Violet I found the locations of the pulls I was feeling." "Good Artemis, now I want you to focus on sending a large mental message to all of those pulls you are feeling, it will be like a large telephone." I was nervous I didn't want to mess this up we needed the rest of our pack to come home, but I did what Violet instructed, I sent the message " To all that can hear me, this is your Alpha, Your Queen, I am with Zeus, Daniel, and Genius, I am here, I am home, please return home to our pack we are waiting." I got the message out but I wasn't sure if they heard me or not " Violet, I sent the message down the pull lines, but I don't know if they heard it or not." I heard a giggle in my head it was Violet again, " Artemis, you did it just give everyone a moment, and you will start hearing a lot of voices in your head for a while."

I opened my eyes to look at the boys, " I found most of our pack. I am waiting to see if they got my message." Zeus was shocked " What message squirt?" I looked at him, puzzled, " I sent a mental message to everyone to come home." Genius was confused, " Princess, you haven't had the training to hear the whole pack. How do you know how to do that?" I smiled at him " Well, you told me to listen to Violet, so that is what I did." All three boy's just smiled at me in, in unison " Artemis, you are amazing, that took us a week or two to learn how to communicate with other members of the pack." I started to smile, but I got a whole swarm of voices in my head; " My queen is it you, have you finally come, can we come home?" I was amazed I never thought in a million years I could pull something like this off, but I had to say something for them to come home, " Yes, this is your Queen, your Alpha, you all need to return home, for those of you that are new or if you have children come to Daniel's we are waiting." The moment those words left me, I heard everyone cheering in my head some said it would be a few days before they arrived, but they were all on their way.

I looked at my mate, my brother, and my friend, "Our pack heard me, they are on their way, some it will take a few days, others will be here by tonight." The next thing I knew my brother, Daniel and my mate were all hugging me, " Thank you, Art, you are going to be an amazing queen." They got me to blush, but they were all still avoiding my other question "Now that I have got our pack coming home, now you will answer my other question, who was that in the wood and why did all five of you surround me." They all looked to each other before Genius spoke " Well, do you remember your brother telling you about the war, well there are still people looking for you that would kill you if given a chance. That was one of the people that could harm you; they are from Oliver's pack." I was taken back by what came out of his mouth, " Why would Oliver save me if his pack wants to harm me?" Zeus and Daniel looked at each other before Daniel turned toward me, " What do you mean, Oliver saved you?" Now I was unsure of what to say because I never told anyone what had happened at school, " Well the last day I was at school before mom passed, Genius found out that I was made to tutor Oliver, and well he got a little protective and started growling saying YOUR MINE." " So Oliver made me run away until we reached my house."

At first, you could tell Zeus was angry, but he soon calmed down, "Squirt, there are two things I can almost guarantee you one is Oliver was not trying to save you, two he did not know where we lived." Now I was confused because Oliver leads me almost all the way home before we even spoke. " Then why did he lead me almost all the way home before speaking?" This had all three boys surprised, but I could feel Genius's anger rising, so I focused on sending calming energy to him before a mental voice "Baby, calm down I am yours no need to get angry." He smiled, but I could still that he was battling with his anger, "Ok, for now, we will worry about what we do know, we can readdress the Oliver thing after our pack has made it home, now I need some fight training now." " Now, out of all three of you, which is the best fighter?" Zeus and Daniel turned towards Genius "Well, babe guess what you get to train me to fight, and don't take it easy either."

He just looked at me " Princess, would I ever take it easy on you." We all laughed at that we all walked out of the office and back outside so that Genius could start training me. The first few times Genius kept knocking me on my butt, but after a few times, I finally got it, and he couldn't pin me at all. So then Genius had me wrestle, my brother, Daniel, and both their mates before he would go any further into the training. I quickly got through all of them, not even breaking a sweat. They all just looked at me, " Are you sure you have never fought before because you're picking up on this quick." That's when Zeus stood up " No, she has never fought, but remember this is our queen, she is stronger than all of us and will pick things up easier then most of us did." I smiled at him I wanted to continue, but Genius shook his head no and nodded in the direction of the others, I hadn't realized that I took wrestling with them a little too severe, the girls looked injured. Even Zeus and Daniel looked terrible; I noticed that it was starting to get a night out when I heard a voice in my head again. " Queen, our Alpha, we are here." I started looking around trying to locate them then I turned toward the others "Ten of our pack is here, you will stay seated until they all come out do you understand me." They all nodded in unison, then one by one I saw my pack coming out of hiding in their wolf forms, some were hesitant to go near me. "I am sorry alpha, but some don't believe that you are who you say you are."

So I started stripping my clothes I turned and handed them to Genius who looked confused. I got down on all fours and began to shift. Once I was in my wolf form, the other wolfs started coming round me watching me, most of them laid on there back showing their stomachs and neck. But there was one who did not they started pacing around me, so I did the same that is when he jumped on me, the others went to get involved when I sent the message "Everyone stays back, this is my fight." I got him off of me when I started smacking with my paws before I began to click my jaws, I finally got him by the back of the neck and tossed him on the ground before standing over him growling. I pinned his throat with my mouth when he let out a whine, I released him, and once I did, he came crawling to me on all fours and his down, showing that he admitted defeat and acknowledged that I was his alpha.

Once he and I were done I shifted back, and Genius handed me my clothes I looked at my pack "Everyone shift back now, I look at the direction of the wolf I just fought, you shift back now and tell me who you are." They all started shifting back to there human forms, the white wolf that I just made submit turned, he was colossal standing 6′3". "Why did you challenge me?" He hung his head " I am sorry alpha, I just did not believe you were here, I would not have even done anything, but you have to understand we have been on our own for a while now." I stood in directly in front of him " I understand that but now you need to understand something I am your queen, I am your alpha you will not step out of line again, or I will kill you." Everyone looked at me with fear and admiration, now I had to introduce everyone " This is my brother Zeus, his mate, and this is Daniel, his mate, and this is my mate Genius, Zeus is your beta, Daniel is your Delta, and Genius is your alpha you will obey them." Everyone waved at one another; I was worn out from today " Okay, now everyone goes inside Daniel and Zeus will show you your room, you are to shower, and get some rest we will all meet in the meeting room in the morning to discuss everything." One by one, they all started heading inside, that just left Genius and me alone.

Then Genius came up to me, wrapped me in his arms "Princess, you were amazing, you are doing such a great job." I smiled up at him " You think so?" With that, he picked me up and carried me to our room, with a devilish smile on his face, he threw me on the bed. " Now, that I have you to myself how about I show you how much I cherish you." I just laughed, " O, but maybe I want to go to bed." With that he slowly approached me on the bed, then he gently started nibbling on my mark, it shot sparks throughout my entire body, Genius knew precisely what he was doing because he kept teasing me until finally, I had enough. "Genius, I really would like to go to sleep I am exhausted could we please." He hung his head, " I am sorry princess, yes we can." So he laid next to me, and soon he drifted off to sleep, I laid there for a while trying to figure out what to say to everyone tomorrow. Violet appeared in my head again " Artemis, quit worrying about tomorrow for now get some rest we will figure out everything tomorrow." There was no point in arguing I was so tired, I laid down and soon after I started to drift off to sleep.
