29 The Nekro'ti

Kiel finally woke up after a long time. There was no pain. He power coursed through his body, he felt refreshing, his body light as a feather.

Everything felt like a dream. He got up from his white bed, wearing only a white one-piece suit. He looked around and there was only whiteness.

He stood and stretched. He muttered. "Where am I?"

He then suddenly remembered. His eyes and mouth turning wide. He quickly held his face and check every part of his body.

He was awed with his body. His body became harder and had more muscles. He whispered "Is this my new body!? It's much more toner and firmer than before!"

"You like it?" A door appeared on the wall and a white dressed woman came in. She fixed her glasses before continuing. "The operation was a success. This is your new body now."

Kiel pointed at her and said. "You!! you're...."

"It's Emilia! Sheesh, how could you forget! After stripping naked in front of me, your just gonna forget me!? How terrible of you!" She said. Her eyes somewhat wet.

Kiel almost puked blood. "What stripping naked you're talking about!? Did you really turn me into a beast!?"

Emilia only laughed. She was excited and said. "Yes! It was a huge success! You're now part-human, part-beast!"

Kiel was flustered. He said. "You really went did it! How could you!?"

Looking out the windows he saw a red colored lake surrounding a what seems to be a giant mountain. He also saw many robots walking around, repairing and building things.

Kiel was amazed and asked. "Where is this? and what are those robots? Goodness! Am I in the future!?"

Emilia let out a cute giggle and said, "What future? Where still in the Dragon Continent. Under the site to be precise"

Kiel's eyes went wide and his jaw dropped. "What? no way! How did I survive!? and what are those robots?" From his memories there were still no known humanoid mechanicals in the continent.

Emilia nodded and said. "That's right! Before the explosion could devour you, the ground caved in and you fell down the hole. Skully saved you."

Emilia shouted back. "Yes it does!"

He became silent, he looked around, the futuristic corridors, buildings, suits, robots. He softly asked. "Are you... from the future?"

He gasped, he became excited and asked in a trembling voice. "If you're from the future, then can you make spaceships!?"

Emilia smiled and said. "Just follow me."

The two were seated in front of each other. She said. "what do you want to ask first?"

Kiel caressed his face. He said. "My new body, What kinds of beast did you use to make my body? And what do you mean by half-human half-beast?"

Kiel looked at the mountain. He asked. "From that mountain?"

Emilia brows curved. She said. "Mountain?" She waved and her hand and the hologram of the said mountain appeared.

Kiel carefully looked at it. He muttered. "Just how big it is? and what's that inside? hmmm?" Slowly his eyes got bigger and he exclaimed. "This is no mountain! This is a demon beast!"

He could barely believe it. A beast on this scale wasn't something he imagined.

Emilia nodded and said. "That's right, though we cannot tell since it became disfigured because it's been for a long period of time. but we've been slowly mapping its origins, it's only a matter of time before we discover it."

She continued. "Next thing, the only remaining human part in you is your blood. In fact, we actually found two different bloodlines inside of you."

Kiel mouth went wide and asked. "Two? Isn't that good news!?"

Emilia nodded and said. "Yes, normally it would, but in your case, its different. You have two conflicting bloodlines. From the scans. One is a fire type while the other one is an ice type."

Kiel sighed. He then got excited. He hurriedly asked. "Then how about you guys? are you from the future? can you build spaceships? can I finally go home!?"

Emilia waved her hands and said. "Easy there! No we're not from the future. Actually I'm an AI. This place we're sitting in is a massive mother-ship."

Kiel felt like he was douse by a bucket of cold water. He asked. "Why? What do you mean?"

Emilia rested her chin on her hand. She said. "Well there's a lot of reasons. The universe is way vaster than you think. Earth could be anywhere! Emilia with a smile said. "Since you'll be braving the universe and our new master. We will do our best to help you. Meet your new army, the Nekro'ti"

Kiel was stunned. He whispered "Nekro'ti....."

He smiled brightly and held his hands. He said. "Then I would be in your care from now on."
